Sunday AM - Sunday School
9:15-10:15 AM in the Basement
The Student Ministry Sunday School hour is a time when community is the main focus. Spending time together, studying Scripture together, and enjoying breakfast (first Sunday of every month) are the ways that we'll build community in this time. This time won't often feature sermon, lecture, or monologue style teaching, but rather large and small group discussions as the style of study. We welcome you to join us as we learn about Jesus Christ and His example.
Wednesday PM - Midweek Worship
6:30-7:30 PM in the Church Basement
Midweek worship is a time for students to gather together to pray, sing, and study Scripture. Though we 'start' at 6:30, students are welcome to come hangout and play games from 5:45 until we begin. Midweek gatherings typically run from mid-August to mid-December and then early January to mid-May. We'd love to have you join us for Midweek!
Activities/Events
SNAC // During the academic year (August to mid-December, January to May) we'll get together once a month on a Sunday Night After Church that morning simply to build community and worship together. These get-togethers might be to swim, watch a movie or a game, worship, play board games, or to serve together. There will (almost) always be food, and these nights are free!
RETREAT // I think we can all agree that life gets a bit loud and chaotic, so we'll "retreat" together once a year--generally early November or mid-January-- to pause, catch our breath, worship and build community. The price point for the retreat will be kept in an affordable range at around $30-50 per person.
SUMMER TRIP // In the Summer, we'll set out on a 2-3 day trip with the goals of communing together and serving others. Short term trips such as this could be to DFW, Memphis, Little Rock, etc. and will blend service projects, cross-cultural experiences, Worldview development and study, and of course plenty of fun activities and good food too. The price point for this trip likely land in the $40-75 range per person.
